CBG (cannabigerol) is a hemp-derived cannabinoid. How Does CBG Work?

As a cannabinoid, CBG attaches itself to cannabinoid receptors belonging to the endocannabinoid system, a bodily system found in every mammal. This attachment process allows the body’s cannabinoid receptors to regulate the functions of nearby bodily processes, playing a role in creating a state of homeostasis within the body.

Will CBG Make Me Feel High?

Like CBD, CBG is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid. This means that even in large doses, CBG will not cause intoxication. There are no mind-altering effects associated with CBG, although some people do say that it offers uplifting effects to their mood.
